天底下忤逆父母親的，多少都有，我們的父母親不識字、不懂道理，講這種話是不孝子的話，沒有父母怎麼會有你們？父母沒有賺錢養家，供你們讀書，你們怎會有飽實的學問？你學問高了，就瞧不起父母親，那就是不孝子。

There are some people who willfully or aggressively

disobey their parents, continuously complain about

their parents’ illiteracy and irrationality,

which is a very unfilial thing to do.

Without parents, how could you have come to existence?

Without parents working so hard to support you,

how could you have received so much education and

become the way you are? Unfilial are those who

grow up to despise their own parents!

要記住，為人子女首重孝順，一個不懂得孝順的人，你說他在修道，那是騙人的話。

Therefore, we must keep in mind that the most important

virtue of a person is filial piety. One who is not filial

is not qualified to cultivate Tao.
