但更後悔的是, 有一天電動門壞了, Eric在我後面問了:"What's wrong?"
然後英文頗爛的我一時情急, 回頭用了國中英文回答他:"It is out of order."
當我看到Eric張嘴蹙眉的表情, 我就知道"完了", 恨不得地上有個洞, 馬上讓我鑽進去.
我就知道古早那些"假鰲"國中老師教的英文用不得也!
真的上班久了, 憑良心說, 全世界的人都用自己的方式在用英文, 印度人的英文, 新加坡的英文, 甚至拉丁人(就義大利, 西班牙那些)的英文, 維京人(就挪威, 瑞典)的英文, 大家都不一樣啦, 就算中文整句全部用英文單字翻譯過去, 我那些外國同事反而看的懂, 這應該叫做生命總會找到自己的出路的?..... 尤其是現在全球都在瘋中文, 換他們拼命想跟我學中文, 最近農曆年未到, 已經有人在簽名檔寫"Gong Si Fa Tsai"了, 這是啥? 恭喜發財呀!

某天早上聽到長春藤英語廣播講到他們根本不講:"Rain dog and cat." , 心裡實在頗"幹"的, 就說很多事都是國中老師害我的.
不要用"Rain dog and cat.", 那....要用什麼?

看到了吧? 人家用的是torrential rain, 不是rain dog and cat.
但國中老師還是在教這一句, 因為這句的四個單字是大家都會的, 只是把它們拼在一起講出來, 然後, 你就會看到老外皺著眉, 張大嘴看你了.
國中英文老師教完俚語, 應該附註說明這個目前只有台灣的英文考試有在用.
