Yesterday afternoon when I had nearly adjusted my biological clock back to normal, my wife and I drove to my daughters place to see her and my two granddaughters. "Gong Gong is coming", the girls chanted in Mandarin again and again when they saw us, but there was no "Po Po is coming." 

Unlike my wife, who is a little "demanding" grandmother to them; instead, I am always a gentle, benign, and doted grandfather. I have always told my wife not to be too harsh to the girls because teaching them well is the responsibility of their parents, not ours.
