The eminence of Wuyisan tea is its Da Hong Pao (大紅袍), a kind of half-baked tea that is similar to Oolong tea. (Previously, I thought Wuyisan produced only black tea; I was wrong.) The most famous Da Hong Pao is from six trees grown on a cliff, but the trees are too old to be leaf-picking anymore, so they are under protection and have become an attraction site only.
Many poets have praised the tea of Wuyisan. I have found two of them, as attached below. Likewise, I would translate them later only if I could.
朱熹 春谷:
武夷高處是蓬萊，
採取靈根手自栽。
地僻芳菲鎮長在，
谷寒蜂蝶未全來。
紅裳似欲留人醉，
錦障何妨為客開。
咀罷醒心何處所，
遠山重疊翠成堆。
范仲淹 武夷茶歌:
年年春自東南來，建溪先暖冰微開。
溪邊奇茗冠天下，武夷仙人從古栽。
