PS: Throughout history, Frace and Germany have been sworn enemies of different races and religions to each other, fighting for their survival and existence. (Maybe not any more within the EU.) Dear islanders, such a cruel battle will not happen between mainland China and Taiwan because people on both sides of the strait are of the same origin, tradition, belief, and, more importantly, huge differences in size. Someday, there may be a conflict taking place across the strait; however, I believe deep down in the people of Taiwan there is one last option, albeit reluctantly to accept it: peaceful reunification.
