Yesterday I joined a feast reunion with my former classmates at that secluded, small restaurant which is nestled against a tiny natural lake, called Duck Lake, somewhere in the campus with tall, green, and leafy trees surrounding. The voluble, enthusiastic lady owner entertained us all by herself, serving the only guests of the day, helped only by a student waiter. (Yesterday was Monday, the day of rest for the bistro.). According to the recounts of the lady owner herself, the dishes served are all of Latin-American flavor, which she learned from a lot of travels over those countries with Spainish she majored in college. Well, the dishes are nutritious but delicious, a kind of Mediterranian sytle. (Because of driving, we did not enjoy any red wine, what a shame!)
Cretainly, the bistro is an affiliated business with the university. But I guess the food it serves is absolutely not affordable to the average students. So the lady owner told us the majority of her guests are the facuty, and the people from outside on the good word of mouths passing to them. Well, am I passing the good words to you guys now?
