就是《小王子》與《丁丁, Tin Tin》
其中《小王子》更是被譽為20世紀
除了聖經與可蘭經之外
全世界最膾炙人口的書籍

《小王子》這個故事的作者是安東尼‧聖修伯里
（Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, 1900-1944）
他是法國著名的小說與童話作家
也是職業飛行員
第二次世界大戰期間被徵召入伍
擔任空軍偵查任務
雖然經常因墜機負傷
但他還是隨即回到工作崗位

雖然工作如此認真
他不幸還是在1944年的一次偵查任務中
墜機失去蹤跡
而《小王子》便是他在逝世前幾個月
所寫的童話哲理故事

這個故事後來被改編成兩幕的兒童音樂劇
《The Little Prince: A magical Opera》
由英國知名電影配樂家瑞秋‧波特曼 (Rachel Portman)
(作品有喜福會、巧克力情人、蒙娜麗莎的微笑等）
擔任音樂創作
並於2003年在美國德州休士頓首演

英國廣播公司BBC後來也籌劃拍攝此劇
也為此展開全國性的角色甄選活動
結果總共有25,000名小朋友報名
導演先選出6,500名來面試
到最後只有不到50人參與演出

此劇於2004年11月27日播放
小王子一角是由Joseph McManners擔任
當時12歲的他聲音純淨嘹亮
有如沒有經過雕琢的璞玉
他的掘起過程也是充滿戲劇性
原來他並未受過正式的聲樂訓練
直到8歲才被母親發現歌唱的才華
