流行爵士經典［Autumn Leaves／秋葉］原是法文歌曲［Les Feuilles mortes／枯葉］, 創作於１９４５年

由移民至法國的匈牙利作曲家Joseph Kosma（原名József Kozma）所譜, Jacques Prévert填詞

１９４６年在電影［Les Portes de la nuit］由尤蒙頓（Yves Montand）演唱, 介紹給世人

１９４７年由美國音樂人強尼梅瑟（Johnny Mercer）填上英文詞, 歌曲略修成［Autumn Leaves］, 自此被許多人翻唱過, 包括美國歌壇著名黑人爵士歌手／鋼琴家納京高（Nat king Cole, 1919-1965）, 與其樂團京高三人組（King Cole Trio）在１９４７年推出單曲, 納京高甚至演唱日文版

 

 

１９５５年　美國鋼琴歌手Roger Williams翻唱［Autumn Leaves］, 登上Billboard單曲榜冠軍, 成為百萬金唱片 讓此曲流行

１９５５年　已單飛的納京高發行首張１２吋唱片［Nat King Cole ings for Two in Love］（１９５３發行１０吋唱片的再版）

重新將此曲翻唱爵士抒情版　也廣受歡迎

當時瓊克勞馥（Joan Crawford）主演哥倫比亞公司發行, Robert Aldrich導演的女性文藝片［The Way We Were］也將片名改成［Autumn Leaves］

並以高的歌曲作為電影開頭, 打算搭此曲當紅的順風車

１９５６年８月電影發行後　果然票房不錯, 讓［Autumn Leaves］的名氣更高

在［Autumn Leaves］的眾多版本中, 納京高的演繹名列最著名版本之一
