1.「大吃特吃」"dig in and pig out"
其中的"dig in"的dig是「挖」的意思。雙手挖進食物中，就是「開始吃」
Jason: Let's go out for dinner tonight. It's my treat.(今晚我們外出用餐吧，我請客。)
Tom: I will dig in and pig out. (那我會大吃特吃)
2. "rise from rags to riches" 「從一無所有到飛黃騰達」
"You rose from rags to riches. "
"rise"指「竄升；出頭」，"rags"指的是「破衣服」，"riches"是「財富」，句子字面上的意思是「從穿破衣服的窘境，竄升到擁有財富」，引申「從一無所有到飛黃騰達」。
同學們也可以這樣說：
"You started from nothing and became something."
(你從小人物變成大人物)
"You made something great out of yourself from humble origins."
(你出身卑微卻成就大事)

(找一個有綠色大自然的地方，好好享受一下。)
