Baseball World Cup and Asian Baseball 2007 are held in Taiwan this year. I still remember six years ago we Chinese Taipei defeated many countries and finally won the third place. Yesterday I asked for a half day-off to see the BWC game ,“Chinese Taipei v.s. Italy”. It’s amazing how great it is our picther “little chick ” struck out totally 13 batters. The game tied until 8 innings and the key point was happened at 9 inning. Our shortstop singled a winning hit to give us 1-0 victory.

During the game I found many famous entertainers cheering for the atheletes, enjoying the game at the same time. We screamed and knocked the lalabuns. Besides that the 3rd floor audiences even displayed a extra-huge national flag during the game time. These all touched my heart and I really loved to see how much we people united to each other aiming to only one thing, “Victory”!!
