少數的歌一聼就喜歡上，這是其中一首，當時在石牌夜市吃東西，
經過一個賣錄音帶的地攤，無意中挑選了一個匣式錄音帶（年輕人
可能沒看過），因為當時我車子上裝的是匣式錄音播放機，恰巧試
聽到這首歌（雖然這首早在196幾年就出了，但我沒聽過），一聽前
奏就喜歡上了。

回家看了歌詞，可以說完全不懂其涵義，只是曲調一直都喜歡，今天
無意中網路上看到這首伴奏，拜網路之賜，也找到歌詞翻譯，雖然仍
似懂非懂，趕緊練一練，就錄下吧，也算從美回來後跟大家打個招呼吧！

因為唱片公司考慮歌曲長度的關係，最後兩段並未出現在錄音室的版本中，
只出現在該團的演唱會版本中。

翻譯者enthusiast的一些注釋：

1：Fandango: 一種西班牙舞
2：the miller: 有些歌詞是Miller，所以有人認為那是Arthur Miller
( Death of a Salesman)，但我看了網站上作詞者的原稿，是小寫的，
所以miller成了磨坊主，此出於Chaucer 的『坎特伯里故事集』裡一篇
故事：磨坊主人的故事，內容大概是一位年輕美麗的磨坊主人的妻子和
他們的大學生房客有染的故事，所以the narrator的遊伴「她」才會臉
色蒼白，因為他們在談不倫的戀愛，所以個人比較贊成後面的說法。

3：“if music…..,….is its queen”出自莎士比亞
4：最後兩段淺白的讀法是他們自殺了，但我覺得這只是象徵一段畸戀的結束。
5：另外有人把整首歌解讀成宗教意思，我認為此解釋太嚴肅。
