每回乘電梯,碰到鄰居, 認識或不認識, ㄧ般都會打個招呼或寒喧一下.
記得年前,曾碰到ㄧ位老先生, 我隨口說了句:”It is cold today!”,老先生縮著肩, 合著手, 回答我道: “ Winter is coming soon!”......
前日, 在電梯中碰到ㄧ位老太太,老太太說:”It is cold today!”, 我回答:”Winter is coming soon!”沒想到她竟回道:”Shuuuu…Don’t say it!”......
加國的冬季又冷又長,真是讓人又愛又恨! 愛,愛它的寧靜安詳平和, 恨, 恨它的又冷又長, 冷, 冷到攝氏零下二十, 三十, 四十度, 長,長到半年六個月,長,長,長到與其他季節,不成比例.......長,長,長,長.....長到不行!
