  As my dad being old, an angel named Marian far from Indonesia flies to Taiwan to take care his living. My dad passed away two years later, Marian then returned to her small southern island . So then after when I see the foreign maids in the street always thinking of them in my heart as name to "Marian".

  In those years of Taiwan, if you and I do not want to or do not like to even may not do the care works, then all put these works onto their shoulder of those who come from the Angels of Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. In this way, we can have time out for developing our economics, showing all our talents and establishing our diplomatic with other countries.

  Face to those "Marian" do we must not well-treated to them? Of course, few of them has done some sabotage things. But after all it is only very less of them. For those migrants who leave their own countries for living, what we should have to pay grateful and also need to give much more regards to them. Thus it can be balance to them of feeling home sick since they are all crossing ocean of far away from their countries. This is what do all employers have to show their leniency and broad-minded.

  Actually, they have another role except only for nursing and taking-care work is to introduce how they are working in Taiwan by oral expressing they are resentful or grateful. This is a different direction to introduce the neighboring countries of familiarization to Taiwan. It would be a gratis advertising agent though!

  One day at a food store seeing a "Marian" eats dinner using spoon and fork instead of chopstick. Her employer is looking around in a department store, so they are not notice thoroughly their foreign friend how to realize the chopstick culture. I have to do something when I see such condition. I take out my meal tools from my bag and hand them to her. Coincidently her employer comes back and sees its happen saying they don't know before and it would be remembered later.

  One another day in the market, there has some disturbance at the door of a grocery. Another "Marian" is carrying a vegetable basket seeing she will be tear down. Because she is unable to explain clearly by using hand of expressing her real meaning to the owner. Actually she wants to buy mushroom in 25 dollars. But the owner says it needs 35 dollars per catty. So he can not sell it to her. "Marian" then hastily speaks in her mother tongue of INDONESIAN , hoarsely a time making the owner can do nothing. Then "Marian" real be cried. I am doing a nagging-as a chicken to pay 50 dollars to buy it for her. The owner then turns an unwilling face to do it. "Marian" squeezes a smile and says "Terima Kasih" (INDONESIA  language means thank you) several times and then leaving.

  Sometimes before, the volunteers would deliver the yearly foods to the old and disabled aged persons, my husband comes back in hurry and says that at downstairs "Marian" is shut outside the door and his neighboring employer's lost-minded old woman is yelling in the living room. He does not know how to do it. Only he comes back home to see that "Marian" whether she wears cloth be enough warm or not Because it is 11 degrees centigrade outside! Then he goes to find a locksmith. Only in 20 minutes the door is open and the smith does not accept of thanks except to pay money. "Marian" has no money to pay. I pay for her and advise her to keep secret of avoidance her employer to blame her. The reason of one raining day, she pushed wheelchair with umbrella in hand and also held old lady's cloth in arm. Un-cautiously cloth fell down to the ground. Her employer beaten her several times by umbrella and scolded her maliciously. I was walking by at that day coincidentally, I kept out of my sight from it, because it was easily to let my tear down. So therefore, the day of her shutting out the door known by her employer, "Marian" will be none the less to be beaten and scolded. So far, the employer of my neighbor really is very much loyalty to her mother but she forgets to pay a little more forgiveness to her migrant.

  Some part of America discriminates blacks and at East some part of Taiwanese also forget to well-treated migrants. All we are mankind, why do we compete more or less and earlier or later each other. We need us to soften our hearts to accept the people, the things and the matters at more different classes. Western saying: Let's put ourselves into one's shoes! (Chinese means 將心比心).

Especially to the Angel MARIAN!
