泰戈爾說什麼是聖潔。

What divine drink wouldst thou have, my God,

from this overflowing cup of my life?

My poet,is it thy delight

to see thy creation through my eyes

and to stand at the portals of my ears silently

to listen to thine own eternal harmony?

Thy world is weaving words in my mind

and thy joy is adding music to them.

Thou givest thyself to me in love

and then feelest thine own entire sweetness in me.

神啊，祢要傾我生命之杯──

啜飲聖潔麼？

詩人啊，你的大樂，豈不

在透過我的眼晴創作

透過我的耳朵，靜靜

聆聽那內蘊的雋永諧音？

你的世界原是我心中編織的詞句

你的至樂原是為它們譜上樂曲

愛裡，你把自已獻給了我
