有教無類(中英雙語新聞)

美國國會2001年通過一項由布希政府提出，名為「有教無類」（No Child Left Behind Act，簡稱NCLB，也譯為「不放棄任何一個孩童」）的法案。這項法案規定，各州教育廳必須訂定每年的進步目標，最終達到在2014年時，全部的孩子都能夠通過年度的「標準測驗(Standardized Test)」，在數學及英文兩科目至少達到「優等」(proficient)以上的目標。不過，實施10年以來，美國各州達成預定目標卻困難重重。

United States Congress passes “No Child Left Behind Act” in 2001which means no child will be abandoned in teaching. According to the regulation of this act, each department of education should make a target of improvement every year. All the children should be qualified by the standardized test and get “proficient” mark at least in math and English subjects when 2014 comes. However, during these ten years, each state in U.S has hardly achieved the target of expectation.
