做簡報時,除非主辦單位有事先宣布,不然講者通常需要向聽眾說明簡報的架構與流程,包含主要重點、所需時間、是否有問答時段 (Q&A session) 等。
口頭說明簡報架構時,通常也會搭配簡報檔案中的大綱頁 (overview/outline) 投影片。(詳細內容請見書中全文p. 85)

Here is an overview of my presentation. As you can see, I’ve divided my talk into three parts.
如你們所見,我將我的談話分成三個部分。
First, causes of hypertension.
首先是導致高血壓的成因。Second, symptoms of hypertension.
第二是高血壓的症狀。
Last, ways to fight hypertension.
最後是對抗高血壓的方法。There will be a conclusion and a 5-minute Q&A at the end.
在結束前會有五分鐘的問答。

After that, I will lay out the requirements and procedures to do so.
