Three Universal Truths  三法印

   Three Seals are the basic teaching of Buddha, so that they are commonly used to attest Buddhism.

1.All phenomena are impermanent  諸行無常

2.All Dharma are not-self  諸法無我

3.The eternity is Nirvana  寂靜涅槃

It is called the seal because it is to certify whether it is the Buddha's teaching or not.

  凡符合此三原則的，便是佛正法，有如世間印信，用為証明，故名法印。
