Human 人

A person; human being. Other people. (Buddhism) (1) Man, the sentient, thinking being in the desire realm, whose past deeds affect his present condition. One of the six destinies (liudao 六道). (2) Self, ego. The individual as inherently existent; soul. Attachment to one's individuality.

欲界中的有情，為六道眾生之一，思慮最多，因過去世中曾修五戒善（五戒者，不殺、不盜、不邪婬、不妄語、不飲酒也。）復行中品十善之因，故今世召感人道之果。人者忍也。於世間違順情境，悉能安忍故。
