Rain and Tears(雨和淚)這首歌是由 Vangelis Papathanassiou、Demis Roussos 與 Loukas Sideras 三人組成的 Aphrodite's Child（愛神之子）希臘樂團所推出。Demis Roussos (迪米斯·盧索斯)與Vangelis 都是老戰友, 他們因政治因素同被希臘政府流放,旅居法國，1968年因為發表《Rain And Tears》這首歌一炮而紅，同年底更乘勝追擊推出了專輯 End Of The World。不過從第二張專輯以後，風格便與原先的鄉村歌謠逐漸不同，其後因Demis與Vangelis理念不合，便各自發展。

Paul Mauriat(波爾瑪麗亞)亦在1968年發表《Rain And Tears》,東南亞地區普遍地只聽聞Paul Mauriat 的版本,很少播放Aphrodite's Child樂隊的原著,
但Paul Mauriat相當忠於原曲的味道,不但以迷人的女聲和唱,更突顯出以女聲貫穿了全曲,甚至做成了先入為主的觀念,令到樂迷在比較時都傾向於認為Paul Mauriat 的演繹比原曲更美。
