在回台灣前我們又到Montery拍拍照，雖然現在都六月下旬了還是補上這篇五月初拍的相片，幾乎每年五月初這個時間都會來拍照因為此時的Montery沿岸邊會開滿粉紅色的小花像是地上鋪上一層粉紅色的花地毯，藍色的海洋搭配粉紅色的小花海邊的顏色突然變的更豐富了也吸引了許多人的停留。
這家餐廳來過很多次本身餐廳也供應新鮮的魚獲，我們通常會外帶餐點到海邊去野餐
這次我點了Sea bass新鮮的魚不用特殊的料理就很好吃

照的很不錯。 您照的是在Lover's Point at Pacific Grove. 盛開的粉紅花是Hardy Ice Plant. Monterey, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove, Carmel, Big Sur 都非常美麗。 建議您可以到 Carmel 的 Scenic Road 再去旁邊有名的 Carmel 的海灘﹐到處是各地來的觀光客。B個ig Sur 也是非常優美聞名的景點, 有Juliet Pfeiffer State Park, 一定再往南去 Nepenthe 照相﹐至少 喝杯咖啡。沿著一號路的這一段﹐還有許多不對外地人開放的私人景點﹐在此做 hermit 很幸福啊﹗謝謝你的分享,Montery.Carmel.Pebble Beach.17 mile那一帶算是還蠻常去的,
有一次沿著1號公路玩下去,那一帶有很多不錯的景點可以玩Big sur.Pfeiffer state park.Morro bay.Solvang.Santa barara風景非常的美麗

上週天才帶朋友去17 mile和Montery附近走走

I had the best clam chowder ever on Monterey's fisherman's wharf back in mid 1980. The problem is I forgot which restaurant it was and can't figure out which restaurant it was eventhough I went back several times. I was too young and too foolish to remember which restaurant.
If you can I highly recommend you to stay over in some boutique hotel.

We were referred to that inn by our cousin, who was a journalist for the Santa Cruz Sentinel. It was a great experience, we checked in and enjoyed some wine and Hors d'oeuvres. We were lucky and saw whale sprouting water into the air as we enjoyed the afternoon wine social hour. Our room had jacuzzi and room included a bottle of wine at night. We sipped wine, enjoyed jacuzzi and the fireplace. Breakfast was good as it was made from scratch (at least when we stayed there), we happen to saw a shark in the bay as we ate our breakfast.
I've been going to Monterey/Carmel area since mid 1980's and I still enjoy that area immensely. We're going to camping in bigsur in a week. California coast has a lot of great areas to visit. North of San Francisco, a bit south of Stinson beach is pretty good for camping. I even found a 1/2 eaten albalone shell (fairly large one but starfishes were dining on it) as I was climbing along the rocks by the sea.
