Across the vast ocean

Into the strange land we came

To escape winter storms that ravaged the land

To seek the blue sky that fills our ever famished mind

To find the truth that was never told

Like dandelion, we drifted, landed and live on

We were born to be nomads and soar into the blue yonder with a cry

Freedom and happily ever after....Until

Long dormant memory of motherland stirs restlessness

The memory of warm earth and gentle wind

The familiar but distant savor that we experienced many moons ago

Yet, the flight path to home is not fresh anymore
