Morning flight from Brisbane to Sydney

Duration: 1 hour 25 minutes

 

天還沒亮 驅車前往 Brisbane Airport

After returning the rental car, only 45 minutes to spare before boarding

安檢還算順利 三人還很清醒 (電子用品, aerosol…) 都取出 for X-ray scanning

We had only 1 carry-on bag for each person…因為 不想浪費時間領取行李

基於 還有30分鐘 而且 早餐是一天最重要的 meal

於是 在機場 品嚐 AUD$5.50 的chocolate muffin and AUD$4.00 的 coffee

貴得有價值 真的很可口

 

澳洲現在是夏季

Sydney has daylight saving 所以 比Brisbane 快了一小時

從Sydney Airport to downtown area, we took the airport train which was a 30-minute ride.

再走一條街 抵達 Swissotel Sydney where we stayed for the night

或許 有些人會認為半天遊 Sydney; one doesn’t get a real taste of the Sydney lifestyle

可是 我只想親眼目睹 The Sydney Harbor Bridge and Sydney Opera House

These two iconic landmarks 是每年的 count down 都會從電視上看見的

 

由於 我們三人對逛街購物都免疫

我們很快速的 window shop the Queen Victoria Building

不過 它的建築物很美 很歐洲 (或許 英國味道 is more appropriate; elegant yet classy)

 

接著 很悠哉的走到 Darling Harbor

坐在板凳上 曬著太陽 看著來往行人

真妙 中國人到處移民 所以 Chinatown 到處有

瞧瞧去 看看跟美國的 Chinatown 有何不同 (沒啥差別)

 

再來 往 Circular Quay 前進

我們搭 ferry 遊海港 看 Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Opera House

電視上所看 和 海上所見 著實不同

電視的色彩 煙火的亮光 讓 Harbor Bridge 多了份 柔和華麗感

實體的 Harbor Bridge 更為壯觀 有種 無畏的力量

一般照片和電視上的 opera house 則為 很優雅的pearl white

實質為黃黃的色澤

或許 它在施工維修

也許 有些事物 須要距離才會產生美感

The Opera House didn’t make a huge impression…

 

夜晚的 Circular Quay 別有風味

Bridge and Opera House 成了黑暗裡的焦點

微涼的海風  柔美的街燈灑遍步道

坐在沿著海岸的餐廳

美食 夜美 一大享受

 

漫步回 hotel

街頭藝人賣力的演出

圍觀的行人給予熱烈的掌聲與歡呼

Sydney city 的夜景 盡收眼裡

Flying to Cairns the following morning~~~
