"Pull the plug" means to do something to prevent an activity from continuing. My mother pulled the plug on the TV because I had watched TV for the whole afternoon.

"Pull the plug"意思是指讓某一件事情停止發生。我母親pulled the plug on the TV，因為我已經看了一個下午的電視了。
