The conference name is also commonly used to refer to those eight schools as a group. The peripheral nervous system (PNS) is the part of the nervous system that consists of the nerves and ganglia on the outside of the brain and spinal cord. The main function of the PNS is to connect the central nervous system (CNS) to the limbs and organs, essentially serving as a communication relay going back and forth between the brain and the extremities.

Standard Operation Procedure(SOP)

The term standard operating procedure, or SOP, is used in a variety of different contexts, including healthcare, aviation, engineering, education, industry, military and civil servants.

The U.S. military sometimes uses the term Standing — rather than Standard — Operating Procedure, because a military SOP refers to a unit's unique procedures, which are not necessarily standard to another unit. "Standard" could imply that there is one (standard) procedure to be used across all units.

Such procedures are a set of step-by-step instructions to achieve a predictable, standardized, desired result often within the context of a longer overall process.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection (HIV) & Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS)

HIV/AIDS has had a great impact on society, both as an illness and as a source of discrimination. The disease also has significant economic impacts. There are many misconceptions about HIV/AIDS such as the belief that it can be transmitted by casual non-sexual contact. The disease has become subject to many controversies involving religion. It has attracted international medical and political attention as well as large-scale funding since it was identified in the 1980s.

The red ribbon is a symbol for solidarity with HIV-positive people and those living with AIDS.
