;Heritage Days is September 16th – 17th. This is a great time for free entry to museums, guided tours, and closed monuments open to the public on this particular weekend. I spent an afternoon at Luxembourg Palace during Heritage Days, and it was my first time inside the buildings on the grounds of Jardin du Luxembourg. During your visit, you can walk in and out of the rooms and enjoy the views of the gardens from the palace.
