西方國家認為,俄國最早可能計畫在2月24日入侵一周年的1個星期前開始大舉進攻,主要目標是奪取烏東頓巴斯地區,包含烏克蘭目前控制的盧甘斯克州部分地區。

Ukraine will get an advanced US-built Patriot defence missile system to try to counter Russian missile and drone attacks, the White House has confirmed ahead of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskys visit to Washington on Wednesday.

In the same month, the Industrial District Court of Dnipro deprived a resident of the temporarily occupied village of Novoselivka, in the Donetsk region, of the right to hold positions in local and state authorities for 10 years without forfeiture of property. According to the court decision, the woman voluntarily took the position of "block supervisor" in Yenakiyevo, for which she received a salary from the occupants. The defendants duties were the following: on the streets assigned to her, she informed the local population about meetings held by representatives of the so-called "DPR" – the self-proclaimed separatist Donetsk People’s Republic –, and drafted lists of local residents who remained in the village. The accused pleaded guilty. The court acknowledged her sincere repentance and active assistance in solving the offence as mitigating circumstances. .

Since the start of the Russian invasion on February 24,2022. Ukraine has liberated a total of 74,443 sq km of territory from Russian forces, according to data from the Institute for the Study of War think-tank.

Ukrainian forces advanced into Kherson on 11 November after Russia said its forces had completed their withdrawal from the southern city, sealing one of the biggest setbacks to President Vladimir Putin’s invasion. Kyiv’s progress and Moscow’s chaotic retreat across the Dnipro river, conducted under Ukrainian artillery fire, meant Russia had surrendered the only provincial capital it had captured in the war, as well as ceding strategic positions.

We do not report in detail on Russian war crimes because those activities are well-covered in Western media and do not directly affect the military operations we are assessing and forecasting. We will continue to evaluate and report on the effects of these criminal activities on the Ukrainian military and population and specifically on combat in Ukrainian urban areas.
