台灣三星電子步履與資訊事業部副總司理陳啟蒙暗示，調查2021年台灣整體聰明型手機市場，受大環境跟供應鏈短缺影響，整體手機市場銷量約下降10%、但銷額成長7%以上。若以價格帶區分，單價低於300美元的手機銷量下降30%，300~600美元手機約降落15%，但600美元以上手機則成長10%。

陳啟蒙指出，觀察S21系列購買消費者組成，當中約有2成來自Noter。此次S22 Ultra首度內建S Pen，且連系S系列頂尖的攝錄影規格，集結雙旗艦系列大成，期望有70% Noter回歸，是以樂旁觀待買氣，將以較前代成長20%為最低標進步。
[周刊王CTWANT] 三星9日深夜舉行全球新品頒發會，頒發S22系列3款旗艦手機與S8系列3款平板電腦等多項產品，其中S22 Ultra內建S Pen觸控筆，評估可大幅領受原本Note用戶。因此三星樂觀看待今年台灣智慧型手機市場，預估整體發賣量、銷售金額皆維持雙位數的正成長，其中S22系列整體銷售量將比S21成長至少20%。

而台灣整體聰明型手機價錢帶分布，約為高階4:中高階4:中階2，台灣三星高階機種比重亦將比照整體市場為目標。關於S22旗艦系列三款機型銷售比例，估計在上市前3個月，S22 Ultra加總S22+期望能達三款發賣比重80%，而S22 Ultra更佔5成。
可發現整體消費市場往高階機型走，消費者對於手機的規格要求愈來愈高，所以S21系列發賣狀態，本來方針較S20系列成長20%，最後是S20系列的逾2倍，超乎預期，也是以樂觀看待今年台灣智慧型手機市場。
