  • default [dɪf'ɔlt]

It's like orange is my default color for pain.

definition: failure to perform

I quickly identified with the atmosphere of Mishael's house, an attraction that stirred up an old conflict.

"Sometimes I blurt these things out," he whispered, leaning toward me.

definition: utter{to express} suddenly

ex: He blurted out the secret before I could stop him.

  • grin [gr'ɪn]

"What are you grining about?" Michael asked.

definition: to draw back the lips so as to show the teeth

ex: She grinned at the camara.

  • neurologist [nʊr'ɑlədʒəst]

" You 're a neurologist, maybe it will make sense to you. I know it sounds crazy but I have this thing , see, where I taste by shape."                        

definition: a physician specializing in neurologist

 ex: He didn't receive an autism diagnosis from a neurologis-t until he was five.

  • conservative [kəns'ɚvətɪv]                                          

As a doctor, I was expected to be conservative, yet the house spoke to the artist in me,too.

definition: cautiously moderate or purposefully

ex: Old people are usually more conservative than  young people.
