改錯研析：

1. The chief executive officer recommended that the organization stay in the current location over the winter if the new facility cannot be found by the end of this month.

2. The chief executive officer recommended that the organization stay where it is over the winter if the new facility cannot be found by the end of this month. 

(1) 本句為標準中式英文，錯誤頗多。執行長是 chief executive officer，即 CEO，不是 chief executive，而且為「可數名詞片語」，要有「定冠詞」the。

(2) 中文「冒號」的用法被原封不動套用在英文句子當中，有點離譜。本句應該是 recommend that someone/something should . . . 的句型，不能因為中文「建議」後面接「冒號」，英文的 recommend 後面也如法泡製接「冒號」。

(3) 執行長在會議中提出建議，會議既已結束，「動詞時態」就應該是「過去式」recommended，而不是 recommends。

(4) stay where in the current location 完全不知所云，應該將 where 刪除，否則就要寫成 stay where it is。stay 之前的「助動詞」should 省略，因此為「原型動詞」，並非「現在式動詞」，有別於「主詞」(the organization) 為「第三人稱單數」，stay 應該要變成 stays 的文法規則。

(5) if not being able to find new facility by the end of the month 的寫法有點瞎。沒錯，「從屬連接詞」if 引導的「從屬子句」若與「主要子句」的「主詞」一致，可以省略「主詞」並將「動詞」轉變為「現在分詞」（主動語態）或「過去分詞」（被動語態）。但本句「主要子句」的「主詞」是 the organization，「從屬子句」的「主詞」顯然不會是 the organization，因為是「人」去找可做為組織新址的「設施」，而不是「組織」去找。正確寫法為 if the new facility cannot be found。

(6)「設施」facility 是「可數名詞」，被誤當「不可數名詞」，中譯翻成「設備」(equipment) 也牛頭不對馬嘴。

(7) 原句根本無法形成「疑問句」卻被打上「問號」，應該是用中文直接玩英文，將中譯的「建議：如果，是否可以？」直接拿來套用。
