Adolescents need adequate nutrition to make their bodies strong.

Adolescents need adequate nutrition to strengthen their bodies.

(1) nutrition（營養）為「不可數名詞」，以 lots of/a lot of 來表示「很多的」當然沒問題，但 lots of 為非正式口語用法，不宜做文書正式寫作之用，應改為 adequate (充足的)。

(2) body (身體) 為「可數名詞」，不能在無「指示詞」的情況下以單數型態呈現，且句中指的是「複數可數名詞」adolescents 的身體，不可能為單數型態。因此，to make strong body 應改為 to make their bodies strong，此處 make 為「不完全及物動詞」，「受詞」為 their bodies，strong 則為「形容詞」型態的「受詞補語」。

(3) strong 有「及物動詞」型態的 strengthen (強化)，strengthen something 即為 make something strong，因此 to make their bodies strong 也可進一步改為 to strengthen their bodies。
