Standard gain horn antennas are used as calibration devices that measure the gain of other antennas.

新北市新店區驚傳邊坡崩塌意外！新坡一街18日發生大片土石滑落災情，嚴重威脅人車安全，市議員陳儀君與地方接獲通報後，已火速聯繫工務局、新店區公所緊急派員搶修，轄區碧潭派出所也十萬火急趕赴現場，於新坡一崩塌處拉起危險布條實施管制，並由清潔隊緊急清除路面落葉碎石防止騎士打滑，公部門與警方正與時間賽跑全力搶救中。

新店分局指出，18日下午4點55分接獲交通障礙報案，指稱新坡一街往長春路方向有路樹倒塌，碧潭派出所線上巡邏警力火速趕抵現場後，赫然發現不僅是路樹倒塌，現場更有嚴重的土石崩落情事。

警方表示，由於該路段屬於危險的U型上坡路段，崩落的巨大土石已嚴重影響汽機車行駛安全，現場更有4部停放的機車慘遭波及受損。所幸現場初步確認並無造成任何人員傷亡。
