當我開始在社區拍照取景後，才注意到，以前在台灣鄉下，水邊，山坡地看到的蘆葦草，竟然也出現在這兒，頓時覺得非常親切。

但是，花形不很像，沒有很多花絮，花穗昂揚，呈灰白色。

經過仔細查對，原來它叫「菅芒」，翻譯成台語，真好聽，鄉音馬上襲上心頭。

注意！它和蘆葦是不同種的。

在社區裡，有些人家，把它種前院當觀賞植物看，有些在松樹，棕櫚樹之間搭種，應該是要顯現熱帶景觀吧！

從資料中得知，菅芒曾是搭建茅草屋的建材，也是喂牛的飼料。

它的葉子細長，非常鋒利，真應了〔鋒芒畢露〕四字。

我懷念台灣鄉野的蘆葦，也愛身邊一叢叢的菅芒。
