It can't be more obvious that a good historian always tries to address an idea by making a case that changes over time. This historical approach is not very different from how a good story teller tells his story. The nature of fiction lies on a character moving over time. Historians are constrained in the aspect of evidences, but they are obligated to compose vivid narratives as fiction writers do. That's the kind of historian I want to be!
