What an incredible sensation that Keats had felt for Fanny Brown: “everything that reminds me of her goes through me like a spear.”(Keats, Letters 1 November 1820) I often think that such a sensation could transform into a perception of a work of art. It is probably very close to what Eliphaz the Temanite described: “ A spirit passed before my face: the hair of my flesh stood up.”(Book of Job)
