還有短a(像 bat)也是一樣。

Ha! how "pool" my English too now. - 12樓. cjs2009/04/03 02:42.
The first day in state 1985,
I can't believe how pool my English that time.
Here is my really experience;Walked on the street,
One guy said: Hi! How are you doing?
I answered: I am not doing. (Even now, I still don't think that I was wrong.)Checked out on supermarket:
Casher spoke to me; Have a nice day!
I said; No, thank you! (I think she want to sell something to me.)Ha, ha! That was funny.
We all learned to say "How are you?" to greet people. I was surprised to hear "How are you doing?" the first time. "Doing what?" was my first impression too.
I wonder what the cashier thought after you rejected her good will. Hahahaha.

Dear Justin's Mum:
I lost my Chinese Input Keyboard(software problem), so I cannot type in Chinese until my hubby fixes it. Sorry!
Most people do not have problems with "S" and "Sh" sound. You don't need to worry about that.
I myself think the letter "L" followed by a consonant or nothing is more difficult to pronounce; e.g.
"World", "Dull", "Cold".
It took me long time to learn the right way.
