4/20/2026 just found OneDrive nightmare come back, i am not the only one in usa try
very hard to blockade OneDrive, however no one can stop what masters want. and just
caught the other bug again no wonder MS never can solve data files auto disappeared
deadly bugs.
this is another reason i cant but continue repeatedly backup 360doc 文章下载 because those data files would be auto disappeared.

in the beginning i thought caused by sharing related so searched:

the following are my searched as :

- Task Manager: Open Task Manager (
Ctrl + Shift + Esc), go to the "Startup" tab, and set OneDrive to "Disabled". PS didnt install OneDrive after bought notebook in 2024 - Unlink/Uninstall: In OneDrive Settings, go to the Account tab and choose "Unlink this PC," or uninstall OneDrive in Settings > Apps. PS N /A as above
- Check Registry: Ensure it is not in the
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Runregistry key. PS didnt show OneDrive by [windows search regedit and click open]

--this is the key problem, by default which SYNC which ? the badly SYNC problem caused new created or modified data files(backup from 360doc) all auto disappeared except the file folder put in c:\ not malicious under c:\users\OneDrive control are survived others put in c:\users\username\document became c:\users\OneDrive\username\documents were auto wipped off by SYNC the question is less than 0.1GB Cloud what are those file folders and how many files in each folder, when was last time updated or never ?
the worst bug happened today(4/20/2026) is pinned documents(file folder) auto replaced by c:\file folder ps both same name but different path. what kind bug it is, can replaced already pinned?
no wonder in the past thought file explorer got different versions, in reality caused by auto swiched pinned file folder.
just felt bugs in every where and never can be solved.

Ive removed OneDrive from everywhere in this computer & still File Explorer keeps make a OneDrive folder in my User Folder, It keeps re-appearing after re-boot after I delete it. --i didnt delete the whole [one drive] file folder which included [username > documents] very high risk but make a copy of one 360doc related data folder to avoid continue auto disappeared. besides no enough huge storge space see below [Delete OneDrive Folder]
You really cant stop Windows from creating the OneDrive folder. However, you can prevent your folders from backing up to that folder. To do that, go to Manage Backup in the OneDrive settings, and turn off the backup of the folders you see there.

But if you dont have OneDrive installed, you wont be able to do that.

PS not until 100% sure, dont delete, i did copy to usb(4.0GB) which got troubble as heard the sound but didnt show in file explorer. didnt follow suggestion to re-format but 1. windows search typed device manager, open , searched device drives which showed --U.R; searched [what is Disk drive [--U.R] ? ] N/A 2. disabled bluetrooth that recently when insert 2 of 5 usb auto popped window to enable bluetrooth. 3. unplug USB then plug in, the Disk drive [--U.R] auto disappeared and correctly usb drive showed up which shows healthy however another Ultra 2GB no problem as company provided driver but 2GB same company made Micro Center driver came from MS very likely did something wrong got error code 43 - Registry Edit: If the folder keeps reappearing, you may need to check the registry settings. Open the Registry Editor by typing
