德克萨斯州布什家族的石油集团得到了战争红利，瓜分了伊拉克石油大蛋糕，赚得盆满钵满。
拉姆斯菲尔德代表的军工复合体也因战争机器开动而大发其财。
切尼家族则垄断了伊拉克重建工程的“外包权”，他让女儿利兹.切尼去伊拉克负责这项工作。
切尼曾是老布什政府的国防部长，离开政坛后，他成了美国能源巨头哈里伯顿公司CEO。
他掌握伊拉克重建工程外包权力后，第一个合作对象就是老东家哈利伯顿。
这家公司除了负责兴建和管理伊拉克全境的美军基地（打造成一个个迷你城市），还负责“绿区”（美国大使馆在巴格达的“领地”）建设。
从道路维修、害虫防治到电影院、酒吧、舞厅……一切事情都由哈利伯顿公司负责。
美国还欢迎西方资本投资伊拉克，但需要通过切尼和他的女儿。

表面上是美国政府付钱，但一切项目最终都需要伊拉克人用石油来偿还。

以柏诚集团来说，它得到1.86亿美元合同，承诺兴建142所诊所。最后，它只完成了6所，拍照宣传之后，就开心走人了，一单就赚到饱，该怎么感谢切尼父女？

2007年4月，《纽约时报》爆料，美国承包商在伊拉克至少有八项工程烂尾，但合同金额却已经落袋。
美国检察官不得不到到伊拉克调查，结果发现有87件合同涉嫌诈欺，都涉及腐败，矛头最终都集中到切尼身上。
而被审判的只有卡斯达公司 (Custer Battles)，因为它吃相太过难看，它居然去雇人盗窃伊拉克原有的机场堆高机，再将机器重新刷漆，然后要求伊拉克临时政府支付购买费用。

2006年3月，弗吉尼亚州法官判定该公司犯有诈欺罪，公司被罚1000万美元。
但此案涉及到了切尼女儿，在切尼运作下，小布什居然豁免了这家公司。理由是伊拉克临时政府不是美国政府一部分，因此不受美国法律管辖。

有了这样一个结果，其它涉案金额数百亿美元的近百起案件，全部安全了，因为它们的业务都在伊拉克，只能由伊拉克临时法院审判，而事实上，伊拉克法院是审判不了美国企业的。
利兹.切尼在伊拉克不仅掌控着工程外包大权，还变成了”经济学家“。
她和保罗.布雷默（美国驻伊拉克最高行政长官及联军管理局局长）在伊拉克推行”休克疗法“，将这里的石油彻底私有化，由埃克森美孚、雪佛龙、英国石油公司(BP)、壳牌等西方大型石油公司控制。

为了美化这场战争，迷惑世人，美国还投入了大量宣传经费。

玩过天涯论坛的朋友应当都看过这个“神帖”---2003年开始修建的“光子大楼”。为了给美国洗地，“联合光子”将所有谎言都加进了这个帖子。
然后，被网友们年年鞭尸，鞭到“联合光子”销号自尽，鞭到天涯论坛倒闭。

这些好手好脚回到美国的士兵是幸运的，在伊拉克打了四年仗。回来时，两岁的娃会叫爸爸了，好温馨。
美国人也在觉醒，新娘蕾妮和新郎齐格尔的悲剧刺痛了他们，也帮助他们看清了美国政客的丑恶嘴脸。
切尼虽然死了，但徒子徒孙还在，千万不要低估了美国的作恶能力。

【侨报纽约讯】一名居住在布碌仑、身形靓丽的年轻华女过去几个月借网红身份探店高档餐厅，却因屡屡拒付账单，自10月以来已至少三次被警察逮捕法办，每次在法院过堂后均被无保释放。如今她正等待至少三起案子的审理。
据警方消息，这名女子是住在布碌仑威廉斯堡豪宅公寓、现年34岁的钟佩芸（Pei-Yun Chung，音译）。她在Instagram（instagram.com/lu.pychung/）等社交媒体上自称在台湾长大，读书时文理科都极其出色，如今为金融机构担任网站设计顾问。该女子喜欢在社交媒体上炫耀名牌服饰、热衷米其林星级餐厅，且长期伪装成美食网红，带着相机和灯光设备就餐，以此期骗取免费享用高级料理。
根据布碌仑高等法院的记录，自10月底以来，她已因为光顾威廉斯堡的Peter Luger与Francie等高档餐厅却不付钱而被警方逮捕三次。事后她还将自己吃的餐点发到社媒上博一波眼球。据《纽约邮报》引述知情者称，她在Peter Luger赖账时，甚至曾提出以性交易代替付款。
据《纽约邮报》援引另一家受害餐厅、威廉斯堡的新美式餐厅Meadowsweet的知情者说：“她盛装打扮走进各大名店，点了价值数百美元的餐点，再骗餐、逃单，然后发Instagram，好像餐厅雇她来宣传一样。她所有信用卡都被拒了。我们整个团队都愣住了——震惊。她表现得极其自信、毫不避讳。”
警方公布，10月27日傍晚6点45分左右，钟佩芸去了Peter Luger，点了146美元餐点后拒付。11月11日周二，她又去了Motorino Pizza，拒付135美元账单。10月22日她走进Francie，点了188美元账单并拒付，要求改以“交换条件”支付，比如照片和一篇推文。被店家以没有事先达成协议为由拒绝。
11月7日晚7点半过后，钟佩芸再度出现Francie，点了83.83美元的餐后拒绝付款。餐厅报警，警方当场在吧台以“盗用服务罪”再次将她上铐逮捕。
