据路透社29日报道，美国联邦参议员玛吉·哈桑日前致信美国太空探索技术公司（SpaceX）首席执行官埃隆·马斯克，要求阻止东南亚电诈园区使用“星链”（Starlink）卫星互联网接入服务对美国公民实施诈骗，并限期给出解释。
报道称，哈桑在信中强调，近年来多个国际机构与媒体披露，一些电诈团伙在缅甸、泰国、柬埔寨和老挝境内所谓“电诈园区”，强迫被人口贩运人员参与电信网络诈骗等犯罪活动。据美国财政部金融犯罪执法网络（FinCEN）的数据，此类诈骗已使美国人遭受数十亿美元损失。
哈桑批评称，虽然SpaceX服务条款允许在发现用户涉嫌滥用后切断设备接入，但多个“电诈园区”仍在持续使用“星链”，SpaceX应当承担责任。她要求SpaceX在8月18日前给出回应，解释该公司是否知道相关滥用情况、何时发现并采取了哪些应对措施，以及是否配合执法机构采取行动。截至目前，SpaceX尚未对此作出公开回应。
