Today, we’re talking about technology, and we’re talking about apps.

"Apps to help you stay healthy" is the title of our lesson now.

Friends, we’ve talked about this many times on the show, but it is important to know that English speakers call these "apps", not "A-P-Ps".

That’s because "app" is short for a longer word, "application".

Also, be careful not to say "apes".

It’s "apps", which I’ve heard some people say incorrectly.

我們現在這堂課的標題是「幫助你保持健康的應用程式」。

朋友們，我們在節目裡已經討論過很多次了，但有一點非常重要，那就是英語人士會把這些稱為「apps」，而不是發音成單字字母「A-P-P-s」。

這是因為「app」是更長的一個字——「application」（應用程式）的縮寫。

另外，也要小心不要唸成 /eɪps/（猿猴）。

它是唸作 /æps/，我曾聽過有些人唸錯了。
