不知道對方性別就使用it來做代名詞

Emily一開始在描述這隻貓的時候他說
It’s orange. And it’s pretty tiny.
因為不知道貓的性別所以呢都是用it來做代名詞。
而之後Ken說她是我鄰居的貓。
She is my neighbor’s cat.
因為認識這隻貓知道它是母貓所以代名詞就改用了she。
對人也是這樣哦。在不知道對方性別的情況下要用it。
比如
The puppy is crying. I think it’s hungry.
小狗在哭我想它是餓了。
或是
Somebody is at the door. Who is it?
有人在門口. 是誰啊？
還有一句
Someone is coming to help us. Is it your friend?
有人要來幫我們. 是你的朋友嗎？
