中央氣象局表示，今(15)日北方鋒面接近臺灣，加上風場仍偏西南風，西半部地區整天不定時有局部陣雨或雷雨，上午中部以北沿海地區容易有較大雨勢發生，東半部以多雲午後雷陣雨的天氣為主，提醒民眾特別注意午後中部以北、宜花地區及南部山區有局部大雨發生的機率，並且容易伴隨雷擊及強陣風發生，外出請攜帶雨具備用。

天氣風險公司天氣分析師賴忠瑋表示，這波鋒面的影響會持續到明(16)日，周五鋒面就會逐漸遠離，天氣好轉，不過到周末都還是會有點殘留雲系和水氣，各地還是容易有午後雷雨。下周一起鋒面北抬，台灣則會進入夏季型的炎熱天氣。
