胡宇威與陳庭妮在2012年時合作《真愛趁現在》傳出緋聞，之後又搭檔《真愛黑白配》，兩人外型登對，當時便傳出假戲真做，不過緋聞傳了9年，雙方一直沒有公開承認，而是以好朋友稱呼對方，直到今日(13日)公開，並證實已經求婚成功。

胡宇威和陳庭妮各自在Instagram分享喜訊，小倆口巧妙地把英文單字together變成「ToGetHer」以及「Twogether」，象徵兩人相攜手走向人生的下一個篇章，而值得一提的是，就連發文的時間也是經過精心挑選，兩人選在「13:14」同步發文，相愛一生一世的寓意閃瞎眾人。

稍早經紀人也證實胡宇威求婚成功，並透露婚戒是卡地亞二克拉，求婚地點是在花蓮玉山山系上，不過因為兩人都還有工作的安排，目前婚期尚未訂下。
