覺知型態便能得到如何將雜念消除的方法,因難免在影響覺知型態時,覺知型態當時也在抗拒雜念的影響,而又有意念的支援,故心念所起的雜念影響覺知型態的程度有限,但覺知型態可藉由每次所受的影響,慢慢懂得如何抗拒心念所起之雜念的影響,所以,要控制心念前,必先能控制意念,若在開始學習控制心念時,就馬上要將雜念消除的話,可能會因個人根基不好,或無法將雜念消除,而無法學會如何將心念控制住,所以一開始絕對不可馬上就要將雜念消除,而是要循序漸進,等到覺知型態有如何消除雜念的經驗後,自然就會知道該如何處理當下的雜念了。
The Advance Stage of Controlling Your Attitude

So that your sentient type can learn how to eliminate the distracting thought. While the distracting thought is affecting your sentient type, your sentient type is also trying to fight it. Supported by your concept, your sentient type can only be affected by the distracting thought to a limited level, and as the experience accumulates, your sentient type can slowly learn how to resist the influence from the distracting thought arising from your attitude. Therefore, before you learn how to control your attitude, you must learn how to control your concept. If you try to eliminate the distracting thought in your beginning of learning how to control your attitude, you may end up failure because your groundwork is not good enough or you are unable to completely eliminate the distracting thought, and accordingly you can not learn how to control your attitude. So you must not try to eliminate the distracting thought right from the beginning, but step by step, wait until your sentient type learns how to eliminate the distracting thought, and you will know how to handle the distracting thought every moment it arises.
