Georgetown is a neighborhood located in the northwest guadrant of

Washington DC along the Potomac River Waterfront.

Georgetown is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Washington DC served as

a major port and commercial center during colonial times

After spending 2 days in downtown Washington DC, we decided to visit Georgetown.

First impression were good, its very pretty area and very crowded.
