1977年出生的R.K.，是愛爾蘭都柏林人，十六歲時加入「Boyzone男孩特區」成為主唱。可是在這之前，不論他如何毛遂自薦，始終得不到任何一家音樂公司青睞，甚至被打回票時，還被冷嘲熱諷「你不適合唱歌」。

Boyzone這個樂團走流行樂路線，成名歌曲有"Love Me For A Reason"〈最佳新團獎〉、 "Baby Can I Hold You" 、"No Matter What"〈1998年年度最佳歌曲〉、"Picture of You"〈Mr. Bean的電影音樂〉等等。
