受到美股4大指數大漲影響，激勵台股表現，原本遭外資大賣的台積電，一掃近期低迷股價，大漲16元，市值重回14兆，半導體類股漲超過2%，電子士氣大振，航運也漲勢如虹，大盤指數盤中大漲244點，最高來到16663點。

第一金投顧董事長陳奕光說，除了台股外，匯率也是關注焦點，畢竟美元強勢，日圓持續貶值，引發韓圜、人民幣、台幣等亞幣表現不佳，投資人要小心操作。新台幣兌美元周五止貶回升，一度重返29.4字頭，升值4分。
