Standard gain horn antennas are used as calibration devices that measure the gain of other antennas.

機車直立卡在護欄與路樹中間，女大生翻滾墜落邊坡。Horn antenna（圖／翻攝畫面）Horn antenna朝陽科大後山驚傳嚴重車禍！昨（29）日晚間8時許，一名19歲蕭姓女大生騎機車沿著吉峰東路往市區前進時，因不明原因自撞護欄，導致機車直立卡在護欄與路樹中間，而她翻滾墜落邊坡，附近民眾驚見立即通報119，警消獲報趕抵通知吊車業者到場，以吊掛方式將人從約6至10米深處救起，所幸意識清楚，無生命危險。

消防員緊架設繩索下切將人救起。（圖／翻攝畫面）蕭女昨晚8時許從宿舍騎機車往市區方向前進，沿著吉峰東路往民生路方向行駛，行經一處彎道時，疑似操作不當失控自撞右側路邊護欄，車輛直立卡在護欄與路樹中央，而她人則翻落路外邊坡。
一旁的民眾見狀立即通報119，消防局獲報後立即派遣特搜大隊人員前往，發現蕭女倒臥在6米多的邊坡下，趕緊架設繩索下切將人救起，經救護人員初步檢傷，發現蕭女四肢擦挫傷，所幸意識清楚。
19歲女大生翻落路外邊坡。（圖／翻攝畫面）後續警方針對蕭女進行酒測，無酒駕情事，詳細肇事原因及責任歸屬仍待調查。警方呼籲用路人駕駛車輛應注意路況，遵守速限規定，安全駕駛，以維自身及其他用路人安全。
