稀有冬候鳥「冠鷿（ㄆ一ˋ）鷈（ㄊ一ˊ）」最近幾天在台東知本溼地現蹤，而且換上美麗的繁殖羽，除了頸部有栗色羽飾以外，頭部黑色羽冠豎起時，簡直就是最潮的爆炸頭，正面看又像是米老鼠，但是因為潛水功夫了得，行蹤神出鬼沒，現場觀察的鳥友們形容，簡直像在玩「打地鼠」。

這隻已經逐漸換上繁殖羽的冬候鳥冠鷿鷈，從耳後延伸到頸部的飾羽，基部是棕栗色、端部是黑色，遠望有如脖子戴著圍巾，更特殊的是黑色的冠羽豎立起來時有如爆炸頭，成了台東目前最夯的動物明星，吸引不少鳥友前往一睹風采。

鳥友說，有著繁殖羽的冠鷿鷈正面看像米老鼠，但是因為牠潛入水中抓魚的時間最長可達30秒甚至1分鐘，潛入水中再冒出水面時，可能在遙遠的另一端，也有可能近在眼前，行蹤飄忽不定、難以捉摸，因此想要觀察到牠，除了靠運氣之外，還必須眼明手快，「好像在玩打地鼠」。

台東鳥會理事王克孝說，冠鷿鷈常出現在國家地理頻道，華麗、逗趣而且頗具戲劇效果的求偶舞，更是鳥友們一生必看1次的精彩清單，只是在台灣想到牠們共舞的機會很少，只能從視訊平台觀賞；冠鷿鷈在台東應該是第一次被紀錄到，繁殖羽更是難能可貴，有鳥友一直想拍繁殖羽的冠鷿鷈，沒想到首次到訪知本溼地就遇見，真是幸運。

冠鷿鷈身長約50公分，又名鳳頭鷿鷈、浪裡白，歐、亞、非、大洋洲都有分布，中國大陸繁殖地主要在東北、內蒙等地，越冬時則經過河北、河南、山西、陝西等省，遷往雲南、四川、長江以南及東南沿海，金門數量頗多，是台灣稀有的冬候鳥。
