As you know, I have been super busy and stressful (although now it is a little bit better) since September about my family medical issues. NOTHING is exciting to share with you guys except for "nightmare." I don't want to talk about it in our public blog.
After this crisis, I have been doing more advocacy and also volunteering in the organization within the Chinese community (I joined it as the family member & volunteer about one year).
One person cannot do much things at once so I have been trying to motive other family members to get involved actively. It is a long road to go....[sigh]. Most family members do not speak English and how can the mainstream society can hear "their voices?"

美玉, 辛苦了! 我能了解妳的感受, 我前一陣子也是忙到哭出來, 很無奈很無助, 我想妳應該也差不多.
不好的事情總是會過去, 接下來就是雨過天晴, 看我們如何去調適. 我跟你一樣不願意把盪到谷底的私事搬上來談, 畢竟這不是訴苦的地方, 所以我也慢慢調整腳步跟觀念以及得失心, 告訴自己事情總是會過去的.
沒了瑪利亞, 來了一個真正的583大姊, 剛開始還不適應, 不過慢慢地調整, 主要人很老實, 我也不該整天啥事都沒做, 只是工作跟吃飯. 所以我現在還是偶爾會分攤家事, 算是運動的一種囉, 這何嘗不好,至少我這女主人還能夠掌控家裡的一切.

You know I can share a lot of my personal feelings with you & some classmates via personal email but NOT here.

However, you are welcome to "whine" here if you want to find a place to release your stress.

Everyone has his/her own way to deal with nightmare, frustration and anger, there is no right or wrong.

I think being yourself is more important. We cannot please everyone and time can prove what is true friendship for us?

I have to let u know I have been very happy to know you guys more via this blog and our recent reunion. Just like knowing the "new you" or a classmate we never touched each other's heart in the past, was it funny?

I think YuCheng and I really had a great time with you and Ivy during our summer reunion.

Thanks for everything including your hubby's kindess! :)

Plus special thanks to our classmates who are so dedicated to put 20th anniversary reunion together. Without them, we cannot be staying in touch like this.
