受疫情影響，今（31）晚有2萬2,789人無法回家圍爐，其中有1,186人必須在集中檢疫所檢疫、隔離。指揮中心指揮官陳時中特別自掏腰包，提供集檢所民眾每人兩注大樂透，以感謝配合防疫，同時期盼能替他們增添年味。對此，醫療應變組副組長王必勝則笑說，為了贈送所有人樂透，他還幫陳時中額外付了1萬8,600元。

王必勝日前才表示，指揮中心有在討論如何在有限經費情況下，讓入住集檢所的民眾感受到年節氛圍。今日他進一步透露，陳時中已經在前天（29日）自掏腰包，拿出10萬元替每位在集檢所的民眾，購買兩注大樂透，並在今日上午發放出去，但王必勝笑說：「其實部長的10萬元根本不夠，我也貼了1萬8,600元，希望部長記得還我錢。」

王必勝表示，原本的方案是贈送特別一點的食物，但礙於集檢所分布在北中南各地，甚至有些地方較為偏遠，配送與保存不易，最後才決定贈送充滿喜氣的大樂透。而除了樂透，各地集檢所也都盡可能地準備具有年節氛圍的晚餐，且入住民眾的家人也陸續送來澎湃菜餚，相信集檢所裡的民眾今晚除了能享用美食外。也能聽到他們中獎的好消息。

另據指揮中心數據指出，目前接受隔離的民眾，其中有982人將於明天解除列管；而因本土疫情受匡列隔離者有6,968人，其中527人將於明天解除隔離回家。
